    CUCET 2019- Central University Of Haryana Entrance Test Schedule, Courses, Eligibility, Seats, Fees, Syllabus, Admit Card, Answer Keys, Result, Merit List & Counselling

    Central University of Haryana and 13 other Central Universities, established by an act of Parliament and the Bengaluru Dr. B. R. Ambedkar School of Economics registered under the Karnataka Societies Registration Act of 1960, jointly organize Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET-2019) for various Programmes. The test will be conducted at different centres across the country on 25th & 26th May, 2019

    CU Haryana Courses, Seats and Eligibility 

    1. M.A. Economics-50 Seats
    Bachelor’s degree with economics as one of the subject from a recognized Indian or foreign university (foreign recognition to be as per AIU list) with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or equivalent grade. OR 55%or more marks in Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in any other discipline or subject from a recognized Indian or foreign university (foreign recognition to be as per AIU list)
    2. B.Ed.- 125 Seats
    50% Marks either in Bachelor Degree and /or in Master’s Degree in Science/ Social Science/ Humanities, Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and mathematics with 55 % marks or any other qualification recognized as equivalent.
    3. M.Ed- 63 Seats
    50% Marks or an equivalent grade in B.Ed./ B.El.Ed./B.A.B.Ed., B.Sc.B.Ed/ D.El.Ed. with an undergraduate degree with 50% (with fifty percent marks in each). The candidates having compartment will not be allowed for admission in M.Ed. (Regular Course) in any case.
    4. M.A. History & Archaeology- 37
    Graduation from any recognized university with a minimum 50 % marks or equivalent grade in aggregate.  
    5. M.A. Political Science- 50
    Graduation from any recognized university with a minimum 50 % marks or equivalent grade in aggregate.

    A candidate seeking admission to M. Com. Course must have: B.Com. (Hons.) Degree from a recognized Indian or foreign university (foreign recognition to be as per AIU list) with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade. OR B.Com. Degree from a recognized Indian or foreign university (foreign recognition to be as per AIU list) with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.OR B.A. (Hons.)     Eligibility for M.Phil

    A candidate shall be eligible for admission to the M.Phil. programme, if he/she holds: A Master's degree or a professional degree, declared equivalent to the Master’s degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 55% marks in the aggregate or its equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC 7-point-scale (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever grading system is followed) or an equivalent degree from a foreign educational institution accredited by an Assessment and Accreditation Agency which is approved, recognised or authorised by an authority, established or incorporated under a law in its home country, or any other statutory authority in that country for the purpose of assessing, accrediting or assuring quality and standards of educational institutions. A relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, may be allowed for those belonging to the SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-abled and other categories of candidates, as per the decision of the Commission from time to time, or for those who had obtained their Master's degree prior to 19th September, 1991. The eligibility marks of 55% (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and the relaxation of 5% to the categories mentioned above are permissible based only on the qualifying marks without including the grace mark procedures. The cases of students who have passed examination outside the Indian Universities system and who may not have obtained a Master’s degree in relevant subject may be considered for admission to the programme, subject to the condition that each case shall be examined on its own merit by the Admissions Committee and in accordance with the recommendations of the Equivalence Committee.

    Eligibility for Ph.D

    The cases of candidates who have passed an examination outside the Indian Universities system and those who may not have obtained a Master’s degree may be considered for admission to the programme subject to the condition that each case shall be examined on its own merit by the Admissions Committee and in accordance with the recommendations of the Equivalence Committee. The candidates who have qualified the UGC/CSIR-JRF/NET/SLET, or are Teacher Fellowshipholders or have passed M. Phil. programme with course work recognised by the U.G.C., as per the UGC Regulations (Minimum Standards and Procedure for award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree, 2009), shall be exempted from appearing at the written test.

    Eligibility for B.Tech-

    Admission to first year / first semester Bachelor Degree in Technology shall be open to the students who have passed XII standard or equivalent examination conducted by CBSE or equivalent boards with minimum of 45% marks in aggregate. For the requisite qualifications earned from foreign countries, Equivalence Certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) is mandatory. The matter of eligibility of the candidate shall be put up to the Equivalence Committee for its consideration and the decision of the Equivalence Committee shall be final. In addition to the Point (1), the student shall have secured not less than fourty five (45) percent marks in the aggregate with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with any one of the following subjects, namely, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Biology and Electronics or as decided by the University from time to time: “Provided, the minimum marks for the purpose of eligibility shall be forty (40) percent in the aggregate in XII standard in case of students belonging to the SC/ST and the OBC (non-creamy layer)/ differently candidates or as decided by the University from time to time. Provided further that, the student shall have studied and passed English as one of the subjects.”
